Empowering Survivors To Build Purpose – Driving Lives Through Entrepreneurship

What is the SIB Scholarship

Empowering Women Through Qualification and Opportunity

At BeyondTrauma Academy, we believe every woman deserves the chance to rebuild her future with dignity, purpose, and independence. The Survivors in Business (SIBS) Programme has been reimagined to provide not only a pathway to entrepreneurship but, more importantly, a qualification route designed for women who have faced educational barriers.

Through the SIBS programme, participants can gain a Level 4 Diploma in Trauma Recovery Facilitation — a professional qualification that opens doors to meaningful employment and self-sufficiency.

Our focus is on helping women become qualified, employable, and confident in their professional skills, whether they choose to start their own healing practice or pursue employment within the wellbeing, social care, or community sectors.

🌸 The Journey

Every woman begins by enrolling in the BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme – a deeply restorative journey of self-healing and growth.
After completing this personal stage, participants can choose to progress into the Level 4 Diploma in Trauma Recovery Facilitation, gaining a recognised professional qualification as a BeyondTrauma Facilitator.

Qualification and Career Pathway:

While the SIBS programme includes the tools and guidance to start a business as a certified BeyondTrauma Facilitator, this is entirely optional. Graduates of the Level 4 Diploma can:

  • Facilitate the BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme and build their own practice as part of our business model (optional), or

  • Use their qualification as a professional credential to support others in the trauma, wellbeing, or social care field, or

  • Include it as part of their academic achievements to strengthen their CV and open employment opportunities.

This pathway is not just about healing — it’s about empowerment, employability, and independence. Many of our graduates have overcome significant life challenges, and this qualification offers them a tangible step forward into stability, confidence, and purpose.

Optional Business Model:

While the SIBS programme includes the tools and guidance to start a business as a certified BeyondTrauma Facilitator, this is entirely optional. Participants can choose to:

  • Use their qualification to seek employment, with support through our employability link partners.

  • Establish their own trauma-informed practice, supported by the Academy’s business mentoring and facilitator network.

Best-Selling Trauma Recovery Programme

"Building a world where compassion mends the deepest wounds. Your Journey with us is not just a career - it's a transformative mission"

We believe financial independence is a crucial part of trauma recovery. The Survivors in Business scholarship helps women who’ve experienced domestic, financial, or sexual violence become certified trauma recovery facilitators and launch their own social-impact businesses.

A Fair and Accessible Route to Qualification

Traditional college or university routes to a Level 4 qualification can often cost £5,000–£8,000 or more, not including materials, travel, and time away from home.

Our BeyondTrauma Level 4 Diploma, at £2,500, offers a professionally accredited, fully supported, and trauma-informed route that can be accessed from home and tailored around personal commitments.

We are actively working to make this qualification accessible to all women through scholarship funding and subsidised places.

If a scholarship is not currently available, we also offer an affordable contribution pathway through our Respectable Contribution Model — allowing participants to begin their qualification and build their future.

Got questions? We've answered the most common ones below.
If you're still unsure, feel free to email us directly: info@beyondtraumaacademy.com

No. While our programme is deeply trauma-informed and healing in nature, it is not a replacement for formal therapy. Survivors should be in a stable place emotionally before applying, and we encourage applicants to have other support systems in place.

Not at all. We value lived experience just as much as formal qualifications — often more. If you are ready to turn your journey into purpose and are committed to the process, you’re who we’re looking for.

You will receive access to our Level 4 Accredited Trauma Recovery Facilitator Diploma, which includes both self-paced and live elements, alongside trauma-informed leadership and business training to help you launch your own facilitation practice.

The training is designed to be completed within 4-6 months, but it is flexible to accommodate individual needs and life circumstances. We know healing doesn’t happen on a strict timeline.

That’s okay. You can apply when you feel more emotionally prepared. This programme is for women who are ready to step into a leadership role and use their journey to help others. If you’re not there yet, we’ll still be here when you are.

Yes — and we’d love that. You can fund part or all of a scholarship through a one-off or monthly donation. Visit our [donation page] to find out more about becoming a donor and the benefits.

We welcome applicants from all over the world. Our training is fully online, and we provide global support wherever possible.

Yes. Once certified, you will be licensed to deliver the BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme in your own business or community. Many of our graduates go on to earn an income by facilitating group sessions, workshops, and speaking engagements.

Absolutely. You’ll have access to a network of fellow facilitators, supervisions, mentorship from our team, and ongoing business development support.

The scholarship covers the entire cost of training, certification, and access to our full facilitator toolkit. It is fully funded thanks to our donors — and completely free to successful applicants.

We review applications based on need, readiness, and alignment with our values. Not everyone is accepted, but we treat every application with care and confidentiality.

You can encourage someone to apply, but for ethical and safeguarding reasons, we must hear directly from the applicant themselves.

Our Partnership Model
BeyondTrauma Academy CIC operates under a Service Level Agreement with Mayameen Meftahi, the programme’s creator, trainer, and accredited qualification provider.
  • The initial £2,500 start-up fee covers the cost of the accredited training, paid directly to Mayameen Meftahi.
  • The ongoing facilitator licensing fee is managed under the BeyondTrauma Academy CIC, ensuring sustainability of the CIC and enabling us to continue offering subsidised training and support for women in need.
This joint model ensures that every participant’s investment contributes not only to their own growth — but to the healing and empowerment of women globally.

Be the reason someone rises.
