What is BTAN?

The BeyondTrauma Advisory Network (BTAN) is a survivor-led professional forum uniting those working across safeguarding, health, justice, education, and recovery.

Our mission is simple — to help professionals move beyond awareness into action, providing the tools, insight, and support needed to make services truly trauma-informed.

What makes BTAN unique is its direct connection to lived experience.
Through our Survivor Action Forum, real voices shape the reports, toolkits, and frameworks you’ll use — ensuring every resource is both professionally sound and grounded in the realities survivors face today.
